  1. Strings - blink 182
The opening line of this song, “I would do anything, and that’s what scares me so bad,” is something that really hits home for me. It’s easy to lose yourself in someone else, and it’s scary! Make sure you take your time. Slow is steady and steady is fast, after all.

  2. Mannequin Challenge - Young Thug feat. Juice WRLD
This song is so sweet man. Thug and Juice just both have that perfect ear for what needs to be done with a beat. Hit the highs, absorb the lows, ride it flawlessly. A master class in how to make a modern rap track with a stellar feature. Nice work, Slime!

  3. BPM - She9
So this is actually a band I found on Instagram Reels (fukk TikTok all my homies hate TikTok) a few months ago. They finally started uploading tracks to their Spotify so I just got the ability to add them to the list. Amazing Japanese Rock/Pop from Shibuya, Tokyo

  4. Reflection - Balance and Composure
When I was in High School, I was super active in the Orlando Hard-Core Scene. All the hot girls in the scene listened to Balance, so obviously I had to start. This is one of my faves off their sophomore LP’

  5. The Shores of Botany Bay - The Irish Rovers
You know what, I don’t give a fuck if the King of Cringe, Elon Musk, made sea shanties uncool again just as they were coming back around. I don’t care! This track is sick. To Hell with your overtime!

  6. Need It - Migos feat. NBA YoungBoy
All I can say about this one is that this is the most important song that plays in the Smoke Made Meats and Eats Prep Kitchen. Shout out to the team, man

  7. Los Ageless - St. Vincent
This is a track I heard when I was moving out of my apartment in Tallahassee that I had spent the last 4 years in. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to be happy anywhere else because I had figured out the perfect way to be happy there. But, life goes on, happiness can be found everywhere if you just take a second to look

  8. Take You There - Through the Roots
This is another one of those “white guy reggae” tracks that we talked about before… Yeah, I’m not proud of this shit, but crank this on the beach and tell me you don’t need a loaded Corona in your left hand, and a kiwi popsicle in your right hand. Shout out Sav for showing me this track

  9. Temptation - Future
Future is at his best, in my opinion, when he croons. Gunna said it best on Who You Foolin’, “sometimes a gangster need a hug.” I hope someone is there whenever Fewch needs a hug. If not, I’ll gladly volunteer my services…

Well, there we go. Pretty fun one this week, couple more lows than highs but hey, life’s like that sometimes. We all need a good 15 minute cry in a camper every now and again. Keeps us honest.
